@EugeneBomba), leader of our Emerging Company practice. Eugene
will share highlights from our 12th annual survey of Canadian
emerging tech leaders that we will release in two weeks.
One of the most important things that a
diverse group of employees brings to a company is diversity of thought. More
homogenous teams often view problems and challenges through the same lens—sometimes
missing nuances or details more diverse teams might find.
Kirstine Stewart is responsible for Canadian operations at Twitter, including its advertising business and partnerships. Prior to joining Twitter in May 2013, Kirstine was the executive vice-president of CBC’s English services, CBC/Radio-Canada, where she oversaw CBC’s English radio and audio, television and digital operations. Earlier, she was senior vice-president of programming for Alliance Atlantis where she headed up brands HGTV, Food Network, National Geographic, BBCCanada and others. Playback Magazine named Kirstine their Person of the Year 2012, and Strategy Magazine recognized her leadership in taking CBC to Brand of the Year 2012.
